Separately, the Founding Board of Directors is asking for members of the public to provide feedback regarding the potential renaming of the charter school to reflect the rich legacy of excellence and pride of the former Liberty Street Elementary via a survey found on its website or its social media platforms. The survey will close Friday at noon when school leaders will analyze feedback and prepare for the August 10 meeting of the board, where this will be listed as an action item.
The board will host its next monthly meeting of the 2020-21 school year at 11:30 am on August 10 at the Sumter Economic Development Building located at 10 East Liberty Street.
